Road Closure in Effect – We’re Still Open!
NCDOT officials have announced that Freedom Drive near I-40 will be closed starting Monday, Jan. 27, as part of a project to replace two bridges on I-40 over Beaverdam Road.
The lower end of Freedom Drive will be closed for 120 days. During this time, drivers will be directed to Newfound Road and Beaverdam Road.
